Key Provisions of HEC Policy

• Definition: Unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favours, or other verbal/physical conduct of a sexual nature.
• Internal Complaint Committee (ICC): Each institution must form an ICC with at least one female member.
• Complaint Procedure: Complaints must be submitted in writing within 90 days of the incident.
• Investigation Timeline: The ICC shall complete its inquiry within 30 days of receiving a complaint.
• Disciplinary Actions: Recommendations range from warnings to suspension or expulsion for proven violations.
• Confidentiality: All proceedings are confidential, and complainants are protected from retaliation.
