This office has carried out all the activities of students relating to Financial Assistance/Scholarship matters as well as dealing with the Philanthropist and Donor Agencies. Furthermore, this office also awards the Prime Minister’s scholarship as per approved criteria set by the Higher Education Commission Islamabad, on the directions of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Pakistan. The total number of 2548 laptops awarded amongst the eligible students in Phase-I, II, III, IV & V from fiscal year 2015 to 2019 is a testament to our commitment. There are many other donor agencies from government and private organizations, including the University, that provide financial help/assistance to meritorious and needy students in the form of loans and scholarships on the recommendations of the University’s Financial Aid Office. Every year, financial assistance/support on a Poverty-cum-Merit basis is provided by the University to poor students. For this purpose, a committee of all Chairmen of academic departments is constituted to scrutinize cases; thereafter, the committee interviews the applicants and finalizes the names of the deserving candidates for the award of financial assistance.
Merit scholarship is provided by the University to students who secure the top positions in their respective departments. The total number of scholarships is awarded to the top five (05) students of every batch in each discipline every year.
This financial assistance is provided by the Higher Education Commission Islamabad for the students of ME, MS, M.Phil & PhD programmes to complete their education in a befitting manner.
This assistance is provided by the Higher Education Commission Islamabad for students belonging to Fata-Baluchistan Provinces admitted on the provincial quota of reserved seats, thereby encouraging poor and needy students.
Provided by the Higher Education Commission Islamabad, this financial assistance is for needy and deserving students of all batches to continue their studies in the Bachelor programme in a befitting manner.
