Directorate of Industrial Liaison

Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science & Technology, Nawabshah is located in the deep interior of Sindh, surrounded by key industries such as cotton, sugar, and various small-scale enterprises. QUEST offers innovative undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in science and engineering that meet the needs of the 21st century.

In addition, it imparts engineering science and technical education to produce skilled graduates who play a pivotal role in national development.

To strengthen academia–industry relations and equip fresh graduates with practical skills, the Directorate arranges and manages industrial internships, enabling students to gain hands-on experience. Many graduates face challenges in securing private-sector roles due to a lack of practical exposure, and these internships help bridge that gap.

The Directorate also organizes study visits to leading industrial sites, enhancing graduates’ understanding of project planning, construction, and management. Recently, DIL has expanded its internship programmes through partnerships with industries both in Pakistan and abroad.
