The English Language Centre is located on the 1st floor of the old Library Building (English Department). Its primary objective is to enhance the English proficiency of students, academic, and non-academic staff.

The Centre is staffed by PhD-qualified faculty and features state-of-the-art audio and video laboratories.

Audio Laboratory

Seating for 32 students; designed to improve listening comprehension and interpersonal communication skills.

Video Laboratory

Seating for 54 students; supports speaking and presentation skill development through multimedia exercises.

Seminar Library

Stocked with the latest books on English communication, GRE, and IELTS, plus CDs for practical demonstrations.

Co-curricular Activities

The Centre hosts debates and declamation contests—many organized in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan—to give students a platform for public speaking and critical thinking.
