I am Dr. Kamran Nazir Memon, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics at Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science & Technology (QUEST), Nawabshah, Sindh, Pakistan. My research specializes in Applied Mathematics, with a focus on analytical and numerical modeling of fluid dynamics. Key areas of my work include Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluid flows (e.g., Power Law, Ellis, Phan Thien Tanner, and Third Grade fluids), blood flow simulations, boundary value problems, mathematical physics, and gravity-driven drainage phenomena. I earned my Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics (2018) from Mehran University of Engineering & Technology (MUET), Jamshoro, where my dissertation investigated "The Hydrodynamics of Gravity-Driven Vessel Drainage of Newtonian and Non-Newtonian Liquids." Prior to this, I completed an M.S. in Mathematics (2012) at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT), Islamabad, researching thin-film flow on vertical cylinders, and a B.S. in Mathematics (2009) from Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU), Khairpur. Since joining QUEST in 2014 (as Lecturer) and advancing to Assistant Professor in 2015, I have pursued rigorous analytical solutions for industrial and physiological fluid systems. My work emphasizes exact solutions, perturbation methods, and slip-condition effects in complex flows. To date, I have published 35+ peer-reviewed articles in national and international journals, including Physica Scripta, Heliyon, Journal of Applied Fluid Mechanics, Thermal Science, and HEC-recognized Pakistani journals. Notable contributions encompass: Analytical frameworks for tank/vessel drainage of non-Newtonian fluids, Thin-film flow dynamics on vertical cylinders with MHD effects, Delta perturbation methods for third-grade fluid flows, Exact solutions for industrial drainage systems with slip boundaries. I am actively engaged in advancing mathematical methodologies for fluid mechanics and mentoring graduate researchers at QUEST. My research bridges theoretical concepts with practical applications in engineering and biomechanics, driven by a commitment to innovation in applied mathematics.
