Dr. Inayatullah Kakepoto is a distinguished academician renowned for his extensive teaching career both at college and university levels exemplifying his dedicated efforts for progress and promotion of higher education through his commitment and devotion in Sindh province. He is Professor (English, BPS-21) Department of Basic Sciences & Related Studies, Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science & Technology Nawabshah wherein; he is actively engaged serving university mission through his outstanding contributions in Arts, Social Science, and Management Sciences fostering academic excellence. He began his professional job career from prestigious institution of Sindh ‘Cadet College Petaro’ where he served as Lecturer English (BPS-17) and played paramount role in educating and training Cadets who subsequently serve in armed forces of Pakistan and protect country border with all valor and dignity. He earned his PhD in Language & Communication from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2013 with a research project examining Communication barriers of engineers and engineering students of Pakistan in academic and industrial settings. He is a Higher Education Commission Approved PhD supervisor who has successfully mentored numerous students guiding to achieve PhD degrees in Applied Linguistics reflecting his commitment to academic excellence in his field of profession. He has authored 49 research papers mainly published in HEC-recognized journals demonstrating significant contribution in dissemination of new and novel scholarly information on multidisciplinary topics. He is greatly committed to community service and extends academic support as Member Editorial Board, Advisory Board, and Peer Reviewer to national and international research journals. He enjoys vast administrative experience having served as Dean Quality Enhancement Cell, Chairman Department of Basic Sciences & Related Studies, and In-charge English Language Centre where he introduced innovative policies to elevate educational standards that benefitted many stakeholders at large. He has received distinguished recognition through esteemed memberships in various Statutory Forums of universities such as Member Syndicate ‘The Shaikh Ayaz University Shikarpur’ and Member Academic Council ‘The University of Larkano’ both conferred by Chief Minister Sindh in recognition of his substantial contributions in higher education sector of the province in particular and the country in general.
