Biography

Dr. Asif Ali is devoted professional in the fields of energy and environment, committed to pioneering innovative solutions for sustainable energy, waste management, and environmental protection. His research focuses on biomass pyrolysis, pelletization, torrefaction, anaerobic digestion, and waste-to-energy technologies for biomass and industrial solid waste. His work aims to develop cleaner, renewable energy solutions to address global challenges such as energy shortages and pollution. Dr. Asif has published over 35 research papers in high-impact international journals, including Waste Management, Chemical Engineering Journal, and Renewable Energy, with a cumulative impact factor exceeding 250. His research has been extensively cited and is widely recognized for contributing to sustainable energy generation and pollution reduction. Currently, Dr. Asif serves as an Assistant Professor at Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science & Technology, where he continues to explore innovative solutions in sustainability, waste-to-energy applications, and cleaner fuel technologies. His work is expected to be instrumental in shaping future policy decisions related to waste management and environmental sustainability at local and national levels in Pakistan.
